Peggy Sheets, CPA, MBA

Peggy Sheets is the Managing Member of Douglas, Sheets & Stremcha, CPA LLC and former President of The Eighteen Nineteen Group, Inc. – both women-owned healthcare consulting firms. 

For over twenty years, Mrs. Sheets has focused her career on providing Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement consulting services for a group of 60 hospitals and related organizations across the country. Specific services include project management and coordination, cost report preparation, cost report reopening, compliance reviews, financial benchmarking, componentized depreciation, billing, and other margin improvement services.  

Prior to forming two successful healthcare consulting firms, Mrs. Sheets honed her broad range of healthcare skills having started her career as a Medicare auditor before transitioning into management roles at several large healthcare organizations. Leveraging off her Intermediary and Private Sector experience, Mrs. Sheets has focused on providing healthcare consulting service to skilled nursing facilities, hospitals, critical access hospitals, and governmental agencies.

Mrs. Sheets has dual degrees from Louisiana State University in Accounting and Marketing. Additionally, she has a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Findlay. Mrs. Sheets is a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Louisiana Society of Certified Public Accountants.
